The Greater "Mendocino Area" includes the communities of Mendocino, Caspar, Little River and Albion.

While Mendocino, Caspar, Little River and Albion home prices decreased in 2009, they did not decline substantially enough to greatly improve affordability. As a result, 2009 was the worst year for sales in the past nineteen years! Although I don't think we'll hit bottom in 2010, my prediction is that prices will eventually fall to 2001-2002 levels before bottoming out and as affordabilty improves, home sales will begin to increase.
